Buyer Personas are personifications of who your buyers are.
All your buyer research is boiled down into a profile of a fictional person who represents your ideal buyer.
They are a personification of a buyer in your Ideal Customer Profile. Because they are a personification, a buyer persona will look like a profile of a real person. Often it will have a photograph, a description of their job, likes, and dislikes.
They are an amalgamation of real buyers’ traits.
